ECU question

Default ECU question
I have an automatic. Is replacing the ECU withfor examplea hondata ECU a good idea? Is it even possible since i have an automatic? I don't plan on doing a tranny swap soon. Would getting a new ECU do anything good for me? My list of mods is in my sig.
