finally i installed the intake, which i loved, but the strurt bar wont' fit over the intake, cuz intake comes in da way.Ifi can cut the intake pipe, noton the side of filter but other,which will makethe intakelowerlil bit, then it mightfit.?? But would it make any diff if i cut the pipe.?? Aem v2 is deffently isgood choice for civic. [sm=bananallama.gif]

 

I wouldn't think it would make much a difference in power, considering those don't add much power anyways. I would just find another strut bar that fits rather then cut the intake because the intake is worth a lot more.

 

get a new strut bar that will fit

 

Don't even CUT the AEM pipe. That's a dumb move..Get a better quality Strut bar. Not some cheap brand that will cause problems.

ya if anything sell the AEM intake and buy a cheap ebay intake, and just keep the filter to slap on the cheap ebay intake.... then you can cut that sucker up all ya want to make it fit.LOL

 

there are 2 struts bars that work for our cars with intakes the Neuspeed one and the DC one, so far thats it

 

thanx bro.. i'm just going to stick with intake... i don't really know how much the front strurts bar is going to make difference, cuz i dont really drivefast on the corners...i'll shoparound for neuspeed or dc one.. safee

 

I bought rear, and front strut bars off ebay and had no problems at all....

You got a pic of this strut bar? Some are adjustable, you just unscrew the bar to adjust the length if thats the problem.
