Hi

Ive just bought a eg6 civic half cut and was wondering if it had an a1 or a2 in it. Its stamped as a b16a but i've been told that jdm cars never put the 2 on there engines is this true????
it also has a hydrualic clutch which makes me think its an b16a2.

1st gen B16A's have a cable clutch and are obd0
2nd gen B16A's have a hydro clutch and are obd1
3rd gen B16A's have a hydro clutch, slightly high compression(that is why they are 170hp and not 160hp) and are obd2

You bought a OBD1 2nd gen clip
