Default EK Dash in a EG

Anyone ever down this? Or know someone? Like how'd it go and how does it look?
Any pictures? I been trying to find more information about it cause I want to do it. I like that dash more then the EG, mainly cause I don't want to get a flip out stereo / nav.

I saw that but that is right hand drive and that's the type R dash, but what about left hand drive? I'm sure it would do the same but I just want more info

I wouldn't recommend it, unless you do some custom fiberglass work to the top of the EG door card to make it look OEM where it meets the dash. The key of this is to make it look like it belongs there. If you make it fit perfectly, it will look good. If you don't, it will look kinda ghetto.

I really want to keep my A/C cause I live at the beach but have the big gap for a touch screen radio / nav, etc. But in the EG I would need a flip out one and it would block the controls for A/C.

Or would this be a good buy for what I'm wanting?

You should be able to tilt the screen out of the way (not all the way retracted, just tilted forward) via touch of a button when needed.
