On my '02 SI dash, there is a blank in a round hole just up and to the right of the gearshift. (Opposite the 4 way flasher button)

What the He$$ goes in this blank hole? Am I missing some option or gadget? Has anybody used this hole to mount some cute/clever switch/button or what?

im not exactly sure about the 02 si of the dash setup but on most cars there are extra pre punched hole that can be knocked out for different things you may want to add, switches, guages, monitors ect. oh, is it an actual hole or is it a filled hole like it could be a templete for an addition to the dash?

 

someone here used that hole to mount the push button start like the s2000 has
