Scaper till the end. Had my "Season 5 or Death" posters up and everything. Even have a few shirts. LOL

I keep wanting to replace the rear "H" on my car with a PK logo.

Yeah - I was pissed they couldn't keep it around. It was seriously starting to get interesting even though the whole thing with Scorpius was getting a little old. I was also cool until they killed off D'Argo, too. Are you a B5 fan too? Seems like the kill off all the good Sci-Fi when it's gettin' good. Bastards.

Never got into B5, but I know what you mean about them killing all the good ones off.

Or happen to be driving across a bridge in Minneapolis. Sorry - someone had to say it.

No disrespect meant to anyone involved in the recent collapse, of course.
I'm from Minneapolis and have family who live there, but that doesn't offend me because they weren't hurt. Actually hardly anyone got killed which is a relief. It's kind of scarry I've driven across that bridge many times. (I don't live there now though)

Yeah I have a few buddies up there, but they were no where near it when it happened. LOL Why is it that stuff like that never happens anywhere near me? Not that I really want it to, but it would be nice to be included in the disasters club for a change. I am starting to feel left out. LOL

Move to Central CA. Take your pick of collapsing roadways, mudslides, flooding rivers, forest fires, earthquakes, riots, shark attacks, mtn lion attacks, whale strandings, rolling blackouts, movie-star politicians, rabid sea-otters, marijuana prescriptions, and Bigfoot sightings.

As for emergency trunk kits, what to carry depends on where you drive. When I'm in town, I don't really need anything except my transit pass,tire-changing gear, jumper cables, and maybe a cellphone. I also keep an atlas and GPS around for when I'm not sure where someplace is, and a snowbrush and traction matswhen flakes are a possibility. If flakes are likely I carry an E-tool too. This is probably more prepared than 90% of the people out there. When I travel cross-country, there are places I go that even a cell and CB won't get you help. There are alsotimes when you don't want to have to flag somebody down or wait for AAA to come. It just isn't safe.

On long trips I also carry a basic first-aid kit (w/Advil, Pepto, Benadryl, and alcohol swabs), at least a basic toolkit (shakelight, a pump, a multi-bit screwdriver, an adjustable wrench, visegrips, electrical multi-tool,ratchetand extension w/gator socket and a sparkplug socket, E-tool, razor knife, mini-hacksaw, baling wire, 2qts oil, JB Weld, Goop, WD-40, and duct-tape), andworst-case supplies(powerbars, distilled water, space blankets, Hefty lawnbag, and rope). This can all pack into a small backpack, so it doesn't take up much room or weigh a lot. Ialso pretty much take my fleece jacketand my Leatherman with whenever I leave town.I still need to get a snakebite/insect kit, a spare alternator belt, some new cable snowchains, and possibly a firestarting kit. Myfuelcan got left at my mom's the last time I went to visit, but that is a good item to have for if you drive after many gas places close for the night (around 11PM) or if you're doing some wandering between already-distant fuelstops.

I carry a bit more stuff if I drive the Wrangler, but I take the Heep places where I might have to get unstuck, replace an axle U-joint, orfrankenstein a leafpack back together.Roadside assistance doesn't typically get a towtruck to those kinds of places that quickly and BFE garages can be crazy expensive or understocked when it comes to replacing an axleshaft. I actually live out of the Jeep forseveral weekssometimestoo, so camping gear often comes along on those trips.
