Default engine size?

Ok so i love the body of the cx but it comes with a sucky motor. So i was wondering what is the bigest size i could fit in there, some one said 2.5L was way to big, so how big can i fit in with out significant body modifications?

your gonna have to be more specific on what you are looking for. you can fit almost any d, b, h, or k series motor in a civic. the h series have the most torque, the k have the most hp, and the b series are always quick and easy to swap. but it depends on what you want to do with the car

H-series = 2.2 litre
D-series = 1.5/1.6/1.7 litre
K-series = 2.0-2.4 litre
B-series = 1.6/1.7/1.8/2.0 litre

Anyway those are the sizes you would want to look into, I know, I know there is the B21 and the H23 blah blah but you dont want those
