headunit is the cd player. the 12v wire goes to the battery. the ground wire goes to a metal part of the body of the car. the amp's remote wire goes the remote wire on the back of the cd player. the rca cables go from the amp to the cd player.

RE: ewie srs?
so the remote wire should be a little guage wire?
the 12v should be the big blue guage wire?
and the ground should be the clear medium guage wire?
how would i hide all those wires? cut my flooring and then put it underneath then hot glue carpet back together? any ideas on what i can do?

the colors don't matter but you got the guages spot on. I wired my civic myself and this is what I did. I ran the power wire on the passenger side of the car, and the RCA cables and REM wire on the driver side of the car. I drilleda hole in the firewall in front of the passenger floorboard, but low enough to where you could get to it from the inside. I ran that under the carpet andthen I pulled off the door sills onthat side and ran the wire along the edge of the floor (under the carpet) and then zip-tiedit at various spots to parts of the body. Then I reached behind the backseat and tucked the wire back there. I then took the other wires (RCA, REM) and ran them from the stereo, then under the carpet, and ran them to the back the same way as I did the 12V wire. Make sure these are on the opposite side of the car from the 12V wire. I have my amp bolted onto the back of the backseat. Then I ran the ground wire to a bolt on the underside of the rear deck. You want to make sure its contacting the body real good on the ground otherwise your amp will overheat if you don't have a good ground.
If you don't feel comfortable doing all this yourself you can have you car professionally wired at a car audio shop,or get a friend that knows what he's doing to help you.
