Default fell in love with an 8th gen coupe

hey guys, some of you have seen my car - 05 civic lx 4dr with17s.i've never been fond of coupes because i know it's hard to get in and out of the car, not to mention loading my hamper at the backseat. anyways i had my car for more than a year already and my colleage drove her daughter's 07 lx coupe to office the other day. when we went out to lunch, i road as passenger and fell for the coupe right away. it's low, headroom is low, great steering wheel, spacious front and rear legrooms, andnice curves from the outside. i wonder why i never get to like the coupe before not until now.

I looked at the specs at honda website, darn only the exl had leather seats and steering. i notice all of them have TPMS already. I wonder what happens to the TPMS when you change to aftermarket rims? would it warn all the time or can you turn it off?

you can put the tpms on the after market rims which should most likely fit. but if not the light willmost likely stay on and warn you.

can you do this on your own in your garage? or you have to bring it to a shop to have the tpms transferred? i'm kinda DIY guy. last rims i bought i was the one who installed it. i don't wanna spend money on something that i could do on my own.

you need to demount the tire from the wheel as the TPMS sensor is located inside. the valve stem is part of the TPMS sensor.

darn.... another set of $$ to be wasted. if i don't get the tpms transferred i'll just live with having the sensors warn me all the time.
