Default First mod done to the Civic(gauge lighting)

I was looking on the net a while back and cam accross jdmcivic.com and they had a DIY thread and i noticed an Amber lighting topic and it had a link to thishere, so i decided to give it a try. but i decided to use blue, now as i type this the bulbs are not in yet, and i don't have my roomates camera to take pics so i will update when they get home/when it gets dark out so you can see the lights on.

i just bought some at canadian tire so you can probably get them at autozone or somewhere in the states, the only thing it is hard to find the smaller bulbs, cause the ones in the dash are so small i havent found the right ones yet(it says 74's in that DIY but they are too big). i thought i did but.... nope... now my temp/fule gauges are still white, but my speedo is a blue/green color, the color didn't turn out right.[:@] but i may just get some led's in the fiture and make the whole thing an actual blue, like color in this car

from the pic it looks really good..i also want to do that to my car, they are already a blue/green color from factory but i want a really nice blue look. , i live in canada also..and im not sure of the size of the bulbs for the gauge cluster but they sell the led light bulbs and it has 3 leds on it but it goes into a normal bulb place..they have them for turn signals and stuff like that (with more leds) and they have the smaller ones also that might fit in the gauge cluster, when i do mine im going to try and get thos

for your first mod you should've gone with engine work first, instead of gauge lighting, although it is sweet to do, the engine should be the #1 priority when it comes to mods, that just my opinion tho. where did you get the kit tho?

this place has some really god l.e.d.'s - www.superlumination.com thats where i ordered my 194 matrix led bulb from. its in the mail somewhere right now but when i get it im going to put it in the speedometer lighting place. even though i have nite glow gauges already, this will cut out the ugly factory white.

ok, i got that bulb in the mail about 2 days ago. i must say, it is one of the brightest and best looking blue bulbs i have seen in a while. anybody wanting a REALLY good l.e.d. bulb, 194 matrix on that site is awesome. im gonna install it whenever i buy the bezel and ring kit for the gauges.
