Hey guys and gals, hows it all going? Im looking for a car to replace my old almera. I've got a bit of cash together, and I've been looking at a 99/2000 civic vti (b16 hatch). At the moment im getting about 40 mpg in my almera travelling along fast A roads and motorways to college and back most days. What sort of mpg do you reckon i'd get in the civic? I've read that if you keep it below 5000rpm (or out of the v-tech zone) I'd still be able to get near the 40 mpg mark, is this true? Obviously I'll be revving that engine out quite a lot and i'll be getting around 30 doing that, but say I don't, just for arguments sake.

Cheers people
