GLASS SHIFT *****

 

I like them, I don't think they would be any colder than a metal one in the morning though.

 

I wouldn't like that... Ineed some grip like leather or atleast some texture. Looks cool tho.

 

Looks cool, but I'm afraid it might break off when I shift.

 

nothing like trying to shift into 4th gear with shards of glass in your hand [:@]

 

dito my skunk2 shifter is freaking FREEZING!!!!!!! i have a microfiber towel over it with a rubber band on it now its to cold otherwise to drive!!!!


they look interesting..... BUT i dont think id rock one.... i dont like seeing the threads on the insides.....

 

I think i will stick with metal or leather myself

 

Coefficient of thermal conductivity:

leather<glass<1<stainless steel<20<titanium<25<aluminum<260

meaning the one that'll be least cold to the touch is leather, then glass, then stainless, then titanium, then aluminum... granted, the metal ones will warm up faster than the glass or leather.

though obviously breakage factor of glass is much higher than any of the above

either way... pretty nifty
