Default GSR brakes

Anybody know about putting the stock GSR brakes on a civic? Seems like my cousin said he had all four disc brakes from a GSR on his tuned-as-fark 99 hatchback with a B18. That car was so sick. Cops from our small home town hated him so much.

I guess the real questions here are 1.) do they fit? 2.) are they a pain in the a$$ to put on? 3.) are they hard to find? and 4.) are they excessively expensive?

yes. yes. yes. and depending on your budget, yes. lol.

but good brakes pay for themselves.

"you can go a 100 mph, but if you can't stop then what good are ya?" lol.

FYI the "GSR brakes" thing is a myth, all non-R 94+ integra brakes are the SAME.

1. yes
2. sort of*
3. no
4. no

it all bolts right up but to do the full swap properly you need to swap the brake booster, master cylinder, and proportioning valve; depending on which valve you get you may need to rebend lines.

I should clarify...I know they were all the same, but I know his donor car was a royally fukt GSR. It was his buddie's and it got creamed by some dumb girl in an SUV (or so the story goes). Somehow, he pulled all the wheels and brakes from this car with no damage to them at all. Either way, in the end, what really matters is that they are much better than the stock Civic brakes, right?

Could I find them at a good junkyard or would I have to scrimp and scrounge with Acura?

MXS, could you take a picture of those parts for me? That way I know what I'm looking at under my hood and under my car, as well as what I'm looking for later. Also, will I be able to reuse the lines that are already in my Civic, or will I have to put new in?
