The GSR is one of the best motors you can get. It will hold up great, as they love taking a beating. The better you take care of it, the longer it will last, just like anything else.

Oh ya man there are better motors out there. Hey since your new I will help you out by trading my awesome D16Z6 for your piece of crap GSR motor. Having only one cam is so much better than two. So just give me a call and we will swap motors. I think you will be happy with the D.

But seriously dude you have one of the best motors ever made for a Honda. If you want more power than build it up or throw a turbo on there or both. You have a great platform to do anything you want with. We will be here to help you out with anything.

the next step would be a h22 or a k20 if you wanted more power. the gsr motor is a great motor.

H22 in an EG is not good if its your daily driver and if you live on roads with bumps. Its a huge motor and snaps axels in half like nothing because it sits at a weird angle. Plus the clearance from the ground to oil pan isnt that much. You're better off keeping your GSR or swapping in a K20. I wouldnt suggest the K20 swap because your going to spend tons of money only to get a little more power. Just throw a turbo on your GSR and you can walk all over anything.
