Default Had some questions

Hello everyone, I'm new to the forums. I have been seaching to buy a car for a while now, and have decided to buy a civic. I was just wondering if there is a particualar year i should stay away from or a good year I should try n get. I don't have massive amounts of cash to buy a baggin new car but I have enough to buy a pretty decent one. From what I hear civics are the best cars to get since most of the work is so cheap any suggestions on which to get?

thanks in advance.

For the best performance possible, you might want to look at around 96 ex. Its not a speed monster, but its a very good starting car and very reliable.

I feel 96-00 EX would be good.

92-95 EX is more in your price range. 96-00 EX is in your price range too, but you should be able to buy any 92-95 EX for less than 4000.
92-95 EX has 125hp, and 96-00 EX has 127hp. The 2hp is not a big deal. Plus, I personally like the 92-95 look better, and less people are driving them around. If you can find one with less than ~160,000 miles, and it's an EX, and it's in good condition, get it.
Also, it's OBD1, so header and exhaust will be less of a pain because it only has one O2 sensor, compared to 96-00's 2 O2 sensors on OBD2.

92-95 EX coupe FTW!
