Default headunit lighting

the light for the defroster button went out on my car... how is it that you change the light? It's not the little orange light, it's the light that turn on when you turn your headlights on... Can anyone help me on this one, please... i really just want to change the whole lighting on my headunit area.......

the first thing to do is take the switch out of the dash & see if there is any way to get the bulb out - it may be a sealed unit & you may have to replace the whole switch

It probably is sealed. Those lights are always going out, and they suck to change. I haven't tried one on a honda yet, but I have 2 I need to change on the CR-V.

That defrost switch should pop out somehow, unless you have the dash where its enclosed by the front cover.
