Hello =)
First off I want to say Hello to everyone. I am new to this site and this i my first post.
So, I have a 2007 Civic EX, and recently aquired (for free) a 1996 Civic hatch. The 96 Hatch has something like 250,000 miles on it (yea I know, it's alot). It is in ok condition, kind of beat up; some dents here and there but over all it is ok. Anyways I am going to swap the motor because it currently has a D16Y8 and it looks pretty bad. Of course with this swap I plan to change out the tranny which is also in bad condition and the axles too. It is alot of work but I am looking forward to it!
Anyways I wanted to ask you opinion on what engine I should get. I want a B18C1 or a B18C5 but I know they are hard to come by. What do you think about this project? Should I put that much money in to an "old" car or should I just get a 2008 Si?
Decisions are so hard, now a days....

RE: Hello =)
Wow free car? nice. But yeah its an older car so if you dont mind putting money on it, it can be a nice project car. With a 2008 si, its already nice, but if you wanna change it you will worry about warranty and not too much aftermarket stuff for them yet.
