Can i take the standard air intake/filter the whole lot, from an ex and put it into my ej? Police have decided my cold air induction is not legal due to it not being inclosed which it is.. But anyway this is the only part i can find in time to make the swap, will it work??

swap it out for a AEM kit its carb legal in cali which im guessing your from they also use to sell replica carb legal stickers on ebay that you could just slap on.
