the main thing is have the head milled at a machine shop before reinstall, and make sure you torque the headbolts down correctly and really good. i would also suggest installing a new water pump and timing belt if you havent done so recently.

I don't mean to hijack the thread, but my car is due for a new timing belt (by mileage). Do you suggest a new water pump be installed at the same time even if the old one is working? Thanks,
-Scott
