Help me decide which civic to purchase for modding
I have $5,000 to spend on a car, I want to mod the car for racing in the future. What year/model civic (or integra/prelude) is considered the best platform to modify?
Another question: Can anyone give me some ideas for cars that are good for modding that might be RWD (obviously not a honda)?

Any LSX engine as far as modding goes. That's a Chevy by the way.
If you want a Honda to mod, 92-95 CX hatch, gut, swap, turbo. Doesn't need to be pretty, just make it fast and worry about aesthetics later.
That of course is IMO.

With $5000 i would go with the 92-96Prelude VTEC. it has the h22a2 i think. sharp looking car. ever since i realized what i got myself into when i bought an automatic 5th gen Civic DX, and learned about engines a little, i decided the next car i get would either be 99-00 Civic Si or a 92-96 Prelude VTEC. i really like the preludes though.

i can read, but i dont know about you. Prelude is speld: P-R-E-L-U-D-E, Civic is speld C-I-V-I-C. They are called letters, which form words. Go back to elementary shcool idiot.

Maybe you should go back to "S-H-C-O-O-L"...

Give civictuner1337 the banhammer, since he obviously isn't intelligent or mature enough to have a discussion.
