HELP! Painting Vinyl and Plastic Trim
Ok so i am in the process of redoing the interior and i have to get rid of all the old dirty and faded gray. I know that the trim has a chemical releasant in it that has to come out. What products (degreaser, paints, primers) should i use to get the best results?
P.S. I really dont want the paint to chip off and stuff so please no quick fixes.

This is a tough one. The best practice for the vinyl is to use pretty much any good degreaser and then use a vinyl dye like SEM. I went the "quick fix" route and used a degreaser and then a spray on vinyl coating. Looked great at first, but didn't survive the summer heat. Cracked and chipped here and there on one door panel. The rest has faded slightly.
For the plastics, I used Krylon Fusion spray paint. It looked great 2 years ago, but it is wearing off these days. There's no bulletproof way to change plastic colors. It will eventually wear or chip.
