you don't need to post two threads, man... your questions have been answered in your other thread anyway. Yes they'll fit, no they won't rub with 225/40-18 tires.

40= hight from edge of rim towards the thread of tire maybe about 3 to 3/12 inches of tire thickness
18= size of rim
Personally I think 225 is to wide [:'(]and they might rub on the side of the fenders.
I own a 2000 Civic Si not to low just to cleared the gap from tire to fender. I have some 17 inch rims with 205/40 tires and they barely tuck in. Perfect fit because before I lowered it I had other rims with 215/40 tires and they would always hit and rub.
Just go with the 205/40/18. Perfection

I own a 2000 Civic Si not to low just to cleared the gap from tire to fender. I have some 17 inch rims with 205/40 tires and they barely tuck in. Perfect fit because before I lowered it I had other rims with 215/40 tires and they would always hit and rub.
