Default Help pls with rim size for 8th gen civic

I have on 07 civic ex coupe and i need help picking a rim size. I wanted to get 18"s but afraid of rubbing issues. Will 18"s fit on my car or will rubbing be a problem?

you don't need to post two threads, man... your questions have been answered in your other thread anyway. Yes they'll fit, no they won't rub with 225/40-18 tires.

225 = width of tire
40= hight from edge of rim towards the thread of tire maybe about 3 to 3/12 inches of tire thickness
18= size of rim

Personally I think 225 is to wide [:'(]and they might rub on the side of the fenders.
I own a 2000 Civic Si not to low just to cleared the gap from tire to fender. I have some 17 inch rims with 205/40 tires and they barely tuck in. Perfect fit because before I lowered it I had other rims with 215/40 tires and they would always hit and rub.

Just go with the 205/40/18. Perfection

8th gens fit much larger tires.
