Hi
my names Donell Knight I am buying my first civic in a month of so and i wanna join my friends and boost it! I am looking to get a 99 civic lx witch i believe has the d16y7 in there. I plan to build and boost the stock motor until I have a new daily driver paid of (f150). I was wondering everything i should do to it. Im looking to run 10psi. I want to motor to last for years if it had too. I know I should do pistons rods cams injectors fuel pump but what else i know i have to do something with the ecu i read places that say it needs to be chipped and others that say i can chip ecu's of civic 96 and up? This will be my daily driver and i don't want to throw a bolt on turbo system and blow the motor in a couple of weeks! Ill have everything install by a shop i just want to get a list of everything im going to need not that anyone trys to b.s. me around!
