Arrow hey need some help

hey it looks like i have oil leaking under the distributor cap. any help will be good thanks 92 civic dx 4dr with d15b vtec engine were can i get parts for this engine if i need them thanks.

check the 'O' ring on your distributor. and wat parts are u wantin to get? oem or performance parts?

take the distributor off and replace the oring, take it to a local [art store and match the o-ring, then before reinstall put a little oil on the new oring so it will slide in easy.

Oil inside the distributor means the shaft seal is leaking, an o-ring won't help. You have to replace the whole unit-- as the shaft seal is generally not sold separately.

The o-ring prevents oil from leaking around the base of the distributor and running down the outside of the engine.

mk im pretty sure he means under the distributor and not inside the distributor.

That's good it's just the o-ring it's a lot less expensive. They seem to always go bad after several years. Before removing distributor mark its position relative to the head (on the part with the top bolt) so you can put it back in the same position. Though checking the timing with a light anyway would be a good idea when done
