Im thinking about buying a 1998 Honda Civic DX. (D16Y7 1.6 16VSOHC) right?

Anyways I mainly want to be a commuter car, meaning i mainly want it for decent mileage.
Im considering buying one with 75,000 miles. What kinda fuel economy should i expect ?

 

I think like 30 city, 35 highway. Thats just a guestimate tho

yes it should be a d16y7 non -vtec.

mileage 30-34 city highway 35-41

this is what my 1998 civic lx is getting with the d16y7 5speed no mods it has 69k miles

they are really really good on gas, i drove my 00 civic dx about 45km 5 days a week and i would only put in like $17 of gas a week
