Default Honda build fever

ok guys, ive been really thinking and its been on my mind and i cant seem to not think about it, i decided when i get my settlement money from my accident with my jeep, im gonna build an all motor d series civic. im gonna go for a high compression n/a build. the problem is that there isnt any honda's really around here so im gonna have to do some searching. let me know your thoughts and ideas. as i brain storm ill post my thoughts and ideas about this build.

so far my plan is to build a d16z6
im gonna put d16a1 pistons form a 88-89 integra
im debating on engine machine work because we dont have a machine shop anywhere close and i hate driving all the way to the city to try and find a machine shop.

i would like to find a 92-95 hatch or sedan and if i can grab a sedan i will do the hatch/coupe front end conversion but most of my build will be on the motor, i just recently bought a house and it has a basement just perfect for me to work in.

hmmm. well ive come across some very interesting topics, and its got me thinking about the 96-00 hx with the d16y5. they come with roller rockers from the factory meaning that the d16y5 could produce more power than any other d series motor. im gonna do some more research on this. the d16y5 produces more hp than the d16y7 and is not far from the d16y8. this would be a great idea for a sleepier build nobody would think a gas saving hx model would be so beast......

I've never heard of a roller rocker build. This could be interesting...

the only problem ive come across so far is nobody offers aftermarket cams, ive only found regrinds. i dont know why this has become a huge build, the d16y5 and the d16y8 have the same block and intake manifold. but a roller rocker build would be beast this motor has a serious potential.

well, the turbo/supercharge thing everyone seems to be building so... im gonna build a all motor sohc. a nitrous build is to simple you can hook up a 50 wet shot to a stock motor and run it. im really thinking about this roller rocker build

mbrent has a nitrous b20 civic

lol, ive built so many things and done alot of swaps, im wanting something new. the turbo thing is so played out to me. im really like splats v6 swap but im not going that much work and $$ to achieve that. i just want to build a nice little n/a all motor sohc since i havent done this yet for myself. if i can get lucky and find a ef i'd grab it, but so far im only finding eg's/ej's ek's

Two EF's for sale in OKC. 200 for one, 300 for the other. The 300 one I know runs, but needs cv's bad. BAD. lol
The turbo is overplayed because it gets results. N/A build has a much much lower cap than turbo. You already know this. I haven't seen a supercharged civic in years and years now. Why not run a supercharger?
