Honda Civic vs. Subaru Impreza
Late 90's what? CTR? Spoon Civic?
It would only be fair to say a CTR or Spoon Civic if you're putting it against a WRX.
Road race or drag race?
For a road race I would probably take the Spoon Civic, for a drag race i'd pick the WRX.

Well I got smoked at the track by a lightly moded WRX wagon. It ran a 13.770 and I ran a 17.054. I have a 98 Hx though not the fastest civic until the swap
I would pick a WRX even over a Si. The WRX is turbo so there is not much chance going head to head stock.

If you're talking about an STi, then no Civic should be off-limits unless you're talking about one that you modded yourself to make it what it is.
There's the new Mugen Type RR, and it has what, 240 HP?
And then the 96-00 Spoon Civic is supposed to be amazing for road courses.
@lowlife I agree with you completely. Haha.

Interesting about the Spoon Civic, wonder if I can find a video somewhere.

the captioning at the beginning has good info, but if you just want to see the car in action, skip ahead
I'm pretty sure the "stock civic" in the video is a stock CTR (Civic Type R)
