Everyone in the "car scene" says they'd perfer their old car to a new car, it's simply blind ignorance. I don't doubt for a second that you love your car, because I loved my Civic. But 30 seconds after I left the lot in my new(er) WRX, I knew damn well I'd never **** around with outdated stuff again.

EDIT: How could anyone in a stable frame of mind NOT want a warranty?! When **** breaks, they fix it, fo free and give you a loaner to drive while you're waiting.

no I understand what ur sayin, Ive bought fast out of the box cars and they r way more expensive to mod then a honda and yes I go on wrx forums... I have alot of friends with subarus Im not sayin ur cars slow and for the sti thing people buy wrxs and build them up for way cheaper then it cost to buy a sti. A guy i know has a wrx wagon with a short block in it and fully built and it blow by stis. I know what im talkin about I just cant word it right. warranty? lol once you start modding say by to ur warranty, I'm not knockin you or sayin hondas are the only way to go im just stating that its cheaper to mod a honda and make it fast compared to other cars and alot of it is power to weight ratio. my buddy next door has a white wrx wagon with the new cobb tunning acc port v3.2 I think thats right but any way I cant do **** when he has that thing set to stage 1 93 octane but wen he put the stock map in it I smoke em. I have built head, trans, internal and full exhaust. I'm buyin an other wrx this fall way to much fun during the winter. sorry I didnt mean to upset people by miswordin things

Go on.... I have all of those things, minus the bottom end, and I cannot get near a WRX.

Care to share your set-up/tune with us?

Whoops.. nvm. Just saw you posted about your car.

Ok.. bored to 1.8, that's note-worthy. What type of camshaft, pistons, tuning system, valves, exhaust, springs, rods, etc etc?

You're not going to share any additional info with us?

BTW, have you checked this site out for local dynos?
