Default honda civic vti-s 1998

Husband changed the headgasket, reassembled car will turn over but won't fire, bought new distributor and rotar arm, still won't start any suggestions? thanks

Recheck all of the connectors. Check the firing order. Check for spark. Make sure the cam timing is correct. Check for fuel. Check compression.

Next time, it's just gonna be check:

https://www.hondacivicforum.com/foru...ad.php?t=74362 Follow that link to check for spark. Is there a check engine light (CEL)? Does the CEL work? (It'll turn on for a couple of seconds then turn off when you turn the key on.

Thanks. Got it fixed it was the coil. Got a second hand distributor for £40.
