Honda Rust, yeah its a biatch
So my 93 EG Coupe is in great running condition engine runs beatifully fairly low mileage e****ally for a Honda (115k) but i have the some really bad rust in the typical spots and until yesterday thought it was just a cosmetic problem. So i was riding though Lynn, MA and if anyone knows I think MA has some of the worst pot holes in America! So i hit this HUGE one in the dark. Thought everything was cool, next day this is what I see
Looks like the the screw that was holding my bumper on to the rest of my body is screwed in to metal so rusted out that when I hit the pot hole the screw just finally gave. Heres a better shot of what im talking about
Anyone got any ideas for a temp fix so my bumper wont be hanging off? or an type of estimate for repair. I know body work is expensive and the rust looks pretty extensive (nice ryhme ey) I probally wouldn't be able to afford to get all the rust removed. Thanks in advnace

RE: Honda Rust, yeah its a biatch
Well on my 89 civic I have rust all around both wheel wells and down under the doors. The estimate I got was to cut out the rust, weld in new metal and paint it. It was $500-600. SO for that one side I think you should e able to get it fixed for around $200, possibly less.

that happened to mine too because it was so rusted, but i just popped it back in a couple of times. Until it was really bad, then i got a drill and drilled in another nail through the side, now it looks betteer than stock, a lot less space in between.
