Default HOOD FITTING IN CAR

OKay so Im getting my carbon fiber hood tomorrow. I have a 06 civic. I want to know if you guys think my hood will fit in the back if i fold down the seats?? Please let me know asap. thanksssssss

best idea is to install your CF hood there then toss a piece of cardboard on your roof and strap your old hood down. I believe we have had threads about this before lol its a usual problem. I'm sure you could bend your CF hood and fit it in teh back but I wouldn't want to bend it like that personally.

The problem is, I cant install it right then and there.

Sorry if this question was already raised, im a new member as of yesterday so i havent had time to look around. Im picking up my hood tomorrow.

ah ok I was jsut syaing that i thought it was a funny problem is all haha. I'll try adn find the thread cause it was a funny thread with several pages of ideas haha The easiest solution though would be to find someone with a truck or SUV to borrow.

Another thing that was thought of was to wrap the Cf hood in a sheet or bubble wrap or soemthing and stick it under your current hood and then tie your current hood down from the latch to the bumper. Just get ghetto with it and bring lots of rope and bunjees haha. Also I am not held liable for anything that may result from the ideas haha.

lmao. that cud be dangerous. ...rght now, im praying it will somehow fit in the back to be honest lol. i dunno how though!

I think the hood on the roof with cardboard is the best idea. I wouldnt try to put t in the trunk if i were you. It doesnt seem like a good idea lol.

or, totally ghetto.... ...take off your hood and drive there, then install the CF hood there. But you say you can't install there so, find someone with a truck, or rent one?
