seeing that i'm a weee bit late and you probably got your hood already, but wouldn't the bubble wrap and tying it down on your hood idea be best? isn't the CF hood lighter and bends more than a regular hood? i'm pretty new to all this car stuff though. i did like the idea of driving around without a hood and installing it there haha...
