Default horn stops working, works, then stops again

The horn on my 95 dx had stopped working so I bought a new horn. Before I could start the job the horn started working again so I took the new horn back to the store. Now it has stopped again(all but a very faint beep). What does this sound like to you guys? Thanks for any input you might give me.

Merry Christmas!

ya if its not sounding right just replace the horn upfront....
if that doesnt help then your horn contacts could be dirty... on the steering wheel that is..

Check the connector for the horn. It might be loose or the wires might be loose. I'll bet the problem is a bad connection somewhere and doesn't have anything to do with the actual horn.

i agree. Always troubleshoot a problem meaning go with the most basic cuzing problems like wire connections, and that might be it so you wouldn't have to spend the extra cash for an unncessary item
