i'm gonna wrap the header and short ram in header wrap....just to keep the motor a little cooler. also thinkin of some type of functional cowl hood....

RE: horsepower estimate?
Is that all? wow... I thought it'd be more then that.... the lx has vtec right?
the D16Y7 has got about 100 at the wheels and 110 at the crank stock, right? I mean... conservatively its got 100 at the crank stock... and ur sayin that with ALL those mods I would ONLY have about 115? thats pretty depressing... i may spend less time under the hood of my car than i thought. it just doesn't sound worth it. I can afford a motor swap(besides i dun want too) and I don't like forced induction. Plus bottles are for babies, and I don't wanna drag it. i just want it to be a little quicker than my neighbor's metro....

RE: paper racers
The Y7 came in the 1996-2000 Civic DX/LX/CX models and is non-vtec. It makes 106 peak hp at 6200 rpm stock. Honda_man, the best mods you could would be to preform a mini-me using the head from a D16Y8 (search for info on that), and swapping in a tranny from the Y8. The head alone will push you to 140-145, as well as boost your peak torque about 1000 rpm forward.
