I tend to judge cars based on how they look when I drive into a parking lot... and stay as far away as possible from them. My feeling is, if they're not willing to take care of THEIR car, they definitely won't care about MINE.

and if you park next to a nice car, yours is less likely to get stolen. lol

 

Exactly. And, you don't want to park out in the middle of nowhere... it's like putting a sign out that reads "Hey, everyone! Look at how nice my car looks!"

 

exactly how i feel. I always try to park next to other people to avoid making my car so out in the open for everyone to see.

 

It's definitely safer... but, I still have to check the doors for any scratches. You might say I'm a little paranoid

 

Haha whenever i park next to people who arent quite in their spot or if its a crappy car, i always text myself the license plate number so if they do anything to my car and drive off....BAM busted

 

Thats actually a good idea. Gonna have to start doing that. Ive seen people who did not want their car hit they parked across 2 parking spots. Thats just asking for random people to want to hit it.
