this mostly depends on tire size and wheel offset

Fairly low; I don't believe you can slam 7th gens like you can 5th/6th gens though. Basically, as long as you're not tucking tire (and have the right wheel offset & tire sizes) you shouldn't have much of a problem with speed bumps/rubbing. Actually, I was sitting about 4" off the ground (that's to the frame rails) in my ej1 and had no problems with speed bumps; it's all about driving technique.

^ na all depends how much your scraping

but all depends on how big your speed bumps are!!!!!!
when i had my black civic droped i scraped my mudflaps on speed bumps in my friends apartment complex but no where else.... but with my 96 silver civic i plan on going even lower so needless to say ill be making her walk to here apartment before those speed bumps.LOL but i also plan on making some skid plates to keep it from tearing up my header and oilpan....

ya ive seen that.. IMO LAME... i want a whole skid front plate.... not hard at all to build myself that way i protect the whole drivetrain.
that header plate is all it protects really maybe alittle of the oil pan but not enough IMO.
im going to weld up a full cage skid plate for the front end and for the rest of the car some simply square tubbing ran down both sides full length of the car since if i do grind on something the pressure will be spread out along the whole UB which shouldnt damage the UB as much as it would have done....

Screw the skid plate... just make a full under-body panel. Throw on a front splitter and a rear diffuser and you have one heck of an aero package
