I made a long *** reply and it went away.. anywho.. to sum up.. I'm 17, got a 94' coupe with an crapload of miles, it gets a bit over 30 MPG.. (32-34)(most people think they get better MPG than they do) and the car is F'in perfect for teens, and just about anyone... the only problem i have with it is that cupholder... drivers side just broke.. pissin me straight off, but if its got close to 120k miles or 240k dont be surprised if you have to replace the clutch somtimes soon, alot of people have to replace it about every 120k miles.. but its worth it considering the engines compression (at least for me) is still about the same as it was the day it rolled out of the factory.

That's an interesting statement. Exactly how difficult is it to calculate MPG?

Let's see:
[ol][*]Fill up car, reset trip odometer.[*]Drive until close to empty, or at least halfway.[*]Fill up car, making note of gallons consumed.[*]Make not of miles on trip odometer.[*]Divide number of miles on trip odometer, by the number of gallons consumed.[*]Result is your MPG, done.[/ol]
So, I get 37.8 mpg and round up to 38.

Proper method, just one correction - you have to use the same gas station and same pump to get more or less accurate results. And, you want to average at least 3-5 tanks...
