Ihave a 1991 civic dx hatch, and my friend was looking at buying it from me...it has a little over 150k...broken rear bumper, clutch is going,body needs work,but it still runs and drives great...how much do you think i should ask for it? i was thinking around a grand, is that too high or not enough?

I cant tell you if i personally dont know how it runs or looks like..
if their is rust on the car, it dosint matter how good it runs, its easyer to buy parts, than fix a body. rust will bring the price down.

 

Put some pictures to see how much it can be worth?

and i know that the KBB of it for fair condition is $1100, but idk how much i want to let her go for, b/c it's a great chassis and it's light so you can make it really quick, that's why i was thinking around $1000

 

$1000 sounds pretty good if the outside is kinda beat up...i got mine for $1800 and the outside was really nice with aftermarket paint job and with some konig rims. Otherwise the interior was (and still is) shot and the brakes needed a lot of work...
