Hey guys,

New to the forum and possibly a Civic as well. I've been reading for days and think I've settled on an LX. Now, my question is how much room do the dealers have to play? This will be my first non-north american vechicle so I'm not sure what the margin is. My local dealer "crunched" the numbers and came up with list. I've never, nor will I ever, buy new at list.

Do your research and find out what the Invoice price of the car is. Go in, tell them you want to buy a car, they want to sell a car, so they can either give it to you at that price, or you can move on to the next dealership.

They still make plenty of money at invoice price
