My friend talked his way out of a ticket for 130 in a 40 zone.

 

one of my friend got clocked at just over 130 on the freeway, and was handcuffed, sitting in the back of the cop car, when a code 3 came over the radio and the guy let him go with a fat ticket.

 

i've gotten to that point as well. there was this kid on the freeway in some beat *** 80 something chevy camaro revving his engine at me. it was an auto so i know i could have taken him, but it would have been a rolling start from 70mph. so i decided to be the bigger man and not give in.
speaking of handcuffed, my friend just got arrested the other day for "attempting to run over a security officer" while we were skating. poor guy got a $400 fine

there is NO WAY u can talk ur way out of 130 in a 40 zone....im a criminal justice major in college, i am friends with many cops, and i kno that it would NOT happen. You would get multiple tickets including the following "Reckless Driving, Excessive Speeding, Reckless Endangerment, and so on. That story is 110%[sm=bs.gif]

 

you are correct pcupo12. there is no way that would happen. i am a part time officer in my town, been one for 4 years. 130 in a 40 will not only get you tickets, but it will get you a one way to jail as well. and you won't see your license for a few years minumum. it's a good story, but that's all it is, a story. some advice for you all. i like to run just as much as anyone else, but common sense tells me to keep it on the track where it belongs. there are a reason for speed limits whether you agree or like them or not. and no, i don't always drive the speed limit. but i know that 130 in a 40 is nothing but ignorant. BE SAFE!!!
