Well after searching and searching i finally found and purchased my first car. Im picking it up tomorrow so ill make sure to post more pics. We ended up getting it for 4700.

wow, 152000 miles.......i got 74000 on my civic....cant imagine having that many miles on mine, will take another 6-7 years.

good job man. Very nice im glad you bought that one and youre lucky you found a hatch in your area. as for the miles i dont think it will cause a problem for you atleast 3 years where you might need a new trans which you can just put in a manual.

 

yeah it does have high miles but im not going to putting hardly any miles on it (school and back and around abit) as for the auto, its the first hatch ive ever seen anywhere close to my area so i decided to jump on it. Mabe if it craps out ill swap but im just excited i finally got a hatch and who knows.

 

looks good man, i was looking at a car for my sis to buy and i found a 98 civic hatch back, black, exactly like that for cheap..but she wanted a "newer" car so shes getting a 02 sunfire![:'(]

 

I went and got it today. I just have a few questions. Is it common that the stock cd player wont play burnt cd's? Also, how hard is it to install an after market deck? I found a explode 6 disk changer under the front passenger seat but it dosnt have the cd holding box thing. Also, what engine do i have? Its a dx. Ill try to get some pics up soon.

 

What year is your car btw? You got a D16y7 SOHC Non VTEC engine with 106HP. I never had trouble installing my deck but if you've never done it before maybe just get a buddy to help you out or look for a DIY on installing a CD deck into an EK civic.
