So I was driving on the freeway and I was almost to work when I see a CHP Officer on a BMW Bike coming behind me. I looked at my speedometer and I saw that I was only going a little less than 75mph. He pulls me over and asks me why I was going so fast and I told him that I didn't notice cause all of the other cars were going the same speed. So he asks for my license and insurance and tells me, "I'm going to have to give you a citation for speeding." NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can understand my first speeding ticket on the way to Lake Tahoe, I was going 89mph, but less than 75mph, COME ON!!!!! THE GUY IN FRONT OF ME DRIVING THE BMW M3 WAS GOING FASTER THAN ME!!!!!! WHAT THE F*%K[:@]

Cops tend to like to pull people with aftermarket mufflers over

 

my friend believes he got pulled over because he drives an accord modded for appearance. he said as the cop wrote his ticket he gave the car the longest lookover ever and wrote the ticket slow, and he was only doing between 65-70 on the highway. thats why i asked what you were driving[:-]

 

my car is mostly stock...the only thing that it has is the rims and a generic muffler tip... i think he was trying to meet his monthly quota for tickets and he just decided, " hmm lets give the young kid in the civic a ticket for the hell of it."

 

Go fight your ticket in the court. If it happened as you described, your chances of ticket being dismissed are pretty good.
