I once hydroplaned across three lanes of traffic miraculously missing more than five other speeding vehicles. That was positively the most terrifying experience I've ever had in a Honda.

I say "in a Honda" because some kids put a huge tractor tire out into the middle of a state route at about three AM. It was foggy and I drilled it doing 65 in the below mentioned Ford. I am still amazed that I was not killed by that one too. Even the cop said that I should have been. Being up on two wheels in an Explorer is not altogether the most calming of experiences.

Good luck with the head swap. Hope it goes well.
