only noticable way to reduce weight is to completely gut ur car. no carpet, no panels, no sound deadening, only driver seat, only leave essentials on dash, etc...just taking out ur back seats and stuff like that wont do much at all and wont be noticable. u need to lose some big lbs to make a noticable difference. unsprung weight is a biggy too. lightest set of wheels, lug nuts, and tires will help. other than that, only way u'll get fast is swap, turbo, swap/turbo, swap/hella built motor, etc...also tranny swap.

another alternative is replacing heavier parts with lighter parts, such as driveshaft/headers...if you have a spare you can take that out too. if moneys really an issue, im not sure how expensive doing the part rep can get.
