I got an 08 civic ex. just wanted to know what cable I need to get to hook up my ipod nano to it. Are these cables for sale at bestbuy?

 

i'm not sure if the 08's have an AUX input, but if it does you'd need a male to male stereo connector

 

I think someone makes a special cord for iPod that will charge it and send music to the stock 08 civic headunit. I saw one at best buy but it was for 01-05 civic. IDK if that has the same connector. I found one on ebay for your car though. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Perip...spagenameZWDVW

If you can't get that, as fiirkan said, the male to male 3.5mm stereo connector will work just fine, it just won't charge it.

 

And the solution around it not charging would be to get a car charger

there's an auxilary output. go to target, get the cable the have and the electronics department, plug it in, set it to auxilary and there you go. its pretty simple.

 

i got a 08 ex also. got mine at radio shack for 6 buks. plugs in to aux plug under stereo.then push aux button and there you go....sound is better with ipod than regular stereo....
