Default Pillar Pod question

When you get a new pillar pod to hold 3 gauges, do you need to take off your stock pillar to install the new one? Or does the one just screw/doubleside-tape onto the stock pillar?

you need to take off the piller..its super easy tho, it just pulls off,its held on by clips, you need to take it off, line up the pods were you want them, screw it on to the piller and get thos caps that go on top of screws to cover them..and you need to drill 3 holes were your pods are on your piller so you can run the wires of your gauges through the back..really easy to do
