I'd like some help in "building" my 06 Sedan.

How cheap can I go without sacrificing some must-have options?

That's tempting, DR. I'd still love to know what the really good options are. (After all, I am a newbie - I know that because it's right there on my avatar.)

Your prolly gonna have to hold off building your car for a couple of months since i'm pretty sure there aren't too many parts on the market for the 06s.

if you want performance from a civic straight off the dealer lot, the new civics are rather limited right now.

the larger 17 inch HFP rims and summer rubber are the easiest.

the coupes have different final gearing, so their a little quicker than the sedans, but you want a sedan, soooo...

get a manual.

Hi,

See my reply posting in this section to someone's asking "what did you pay?"
Basically I bought mine on the Internet, and it cost me (all taxes and fees inluded) about $18,000 for a 2006 Civic LX sedan, with auto, plus fog lghts. Deduct $600 for the fog lights, and $800 for the auto transmission, and adjust for your local fees (we have a 6% sales tax in CT) and you should be close.

I'd guess about $16,000 give or take, would be good--before adding taxes, registration, etc.

Good luck!

or save a little more money in the next couple of months, and pick up the new Si sedan thats going to be released soon. a bunch of performance stuff, and a 197hp motor Vs a 140hp motor in the rest of the linup.

The Si coupe is pretty hard to get but if you can get one you should. I like the coupe myself. I paid 19800 for mine.
