Google "DPFI to MPFI swap" and there will be various guides. Basic idea: Your stock intake mani has 2 injectors and works sort of like a carburetor (DPFI). 2 injectors < 4 injectors.

So you'll replace the ECU, distributor, entire intake manifold, and run 4 wires from the ECU to the engine bay. It's not terribly difficult, but if you need help, Google is a good friend. I have some experience with it as well, my DX is running MPFI forevaaarrr.
