You are probably right. But is it any different if I swapped clusters? It would still say different mileage than actual.
Perhaps I could get an lx,dx,ex cluster and bring it into a "certified" shop that verifies and resets the cluster with the mileage of the actual car? I've never heard of that service but maybe it exists.
Besides the point I've already made up my mind that I would like to keep the original cluster and that I will just mount an aftermarket tach somewhere.

 

you can take the speedo/odometer gauge itself out and swap it into the new cluster.

your right mine is like exactly the same as yours.

ya i have the si cluster, i just kept the same speedo that came with the cluster
