I have 1996 Civic DX that does not have A/C on it (STANDARD NON-VTECH D16Y7 ENGINE). Is there a COMPLETE KIT I can purchase (say from partsgeeks.com) that has all the necessary components, or do I have buy all the components individually?
What is the approx cost just to purchase the needed components?

 

Because of the age, it would probably be easiest to go to a DIY junkyard and get all the parts from a wreck. The compressor and a few other parts should be bought new. Don't forget the switches and wiring in the dash.
